Destination Mitzvah believes in relationships. We are honored to be a part of this very special time in your lives and genuinely care about the success of the entire event. We strive to create beautiful memories that will forever be remembered by you, your family, and your friends. We treat each event as if it is our Son or Daughter becoming a Bar or Bat Mitzvah or getting married.
Destination Mitzvah will be with you every step of the way, even at the event. You will be assigned an experienced Event Planner who, based on your location, can meet with in person, FaceTime, Skype, or you can simply call. You will also be provided the owner's cell phone. We strive to make this a stress free and enjoyable experience for everyone, including your family and friends.
While Bar and Bat Mitzvah children may work with their "hometown" clergy, our experienced Rabbis and Cantors teach in person, through Skype or FaceTime, for 20 to 30 minutes a session, one session a week, for at least six months. Lessons are done at times convenient for your son or daughter, and our clergy adapt their teaching based on your son or daughter's learning style and capabilities.

Destination Mitzvah has an "A+" rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and is IATA accredited. We are proud members of DWHSA, and for the protection of consumers, we are also fully licensed, bonded, and insured. To ensure our "A+" level of service and reputation, the Destination Mitzvah Event Planner who is intimate with your event will be there in person to implement as planned.

Destination Mitzvah has relationships with several venues at or near Embarkation ports, allowing us to have the wedding, Bar or Bat Mitzvah service prior to embarking on a cruise, enables Guests who are unable to cruise to still attend the ceremony and celebration. We also have a special relationship with Norwegian Cruise Line.
Destination Mitzvah strives to ensure your Guests have a great time throughout their travels. For this reason, your Guests may contact the Destination Mitzvah Team in advance for requests such as dietary and bedding configuration and your Guests may visit the exclusive Destination Mitzvah hospitality desk during their travels.
Destination Mitzvah is a full service company for Weddings and Bar and Bat Mitzvah ceremonies and celebrations. You will be assigned an experienced Event Planner who will be with you every step of the way, even at your Destination Mitzvah. We also are IATA accredited so we manage all aspects of travel including accommodations.
Destination Mitzvah works with over 300 resorts in in Florida, the Caribbean, Bahamas and Mexico. At the resort, we plan private group activities, excursions and dinners. The Bar or Bat Mitzvah service or Wedding ceremony can take place at several locations including on the beach.
Destination Mitzvah is partners with 17 different cruise lines which leave from cities throughout the US. Regardless if you would like to travel to the Bahamas, Caribbean, Bermuda, Mexico, or Alaska, there is a sailing for you. With a Mitzvah At Sea package, the service can be at the cruise line's private island, during an excursion, or on the ship.
Destination Mitzvah has direct relationships with 17 different cruise lines and hundreds of all inclusive resorts including family friendly and adult only brands. We also have relationships with unique venues. So regardless if you would like a land based or cruise based Destination Mitzvah, we can take care of it all.
Destination Mitzvah, using our expertise and relationship with cruise lines, resorts, and unique locations, plans, manages, and implements the complete Wedding or Bar and Bat Mitzvah ceremony and celebration along with exclusive group activities. We also manage the travel for all Guests including reservations and serving as a concierge.
Destination Mitzvah offers an extended celebration, based on the size of the group which may include a welcome (or sail away) cocktail party or champagne toast, private dinners, and a party with DJ.
Because we "Bring the Synagogue," we have tremendous flexibility as to where we have the ceremony, enabling us to take advantage of spectacular scenery. We customize the service to your desires and it can be held in a unique location such as on the Beach, on a catamaran, during an excursion, at the resort, or on board the ship.
Destination Mitzvah brings the Torah, Kippot, Siddur, Tallit, Shabbat Candles, Kiddish Cup, and all items needed for a beautiful Bar or Bat Mitzvah service or wedding ceremony. The Destination Mitzvah Rabbi or Cantor who has been teaching your son or daughter or who has built a relationship with the engaged couple, will also officiate the service.
Our clergy are of Reform and Conservative backgrounds. All team members, including our Clergy believe in our philosophy of a stress-free experience. For Bar or Bat Mitzvah children, our Clergy teach Torah, Haftorah, and Prayers, based on your child's, learning style and learning capabilities. For wedding couples, our clergy will officiate the ceremony.
